dApp

dApp: Decentralized applications are open source software applications with back end code running on a decentralized peer-to-peer network rather than a centralized server. A dApp is a decentralized application, which is a normal application that has part or all of its functions coded in a manner which is executed by the blockchain networks distributed computers and allows anyone to access the function of the application without the need to connect to a centralized database/server or run the software on their own device. This has allowed many applications to scale fast and puts the burden of paying for use on the user.
